MacPherson appears most comfortable with the machines. He said it's no surprise he wound up working in a garage. He grew up around vehicles, most often handing tools to his dad who was into hotrods and vehicle restoration. (Kendall Latimer/CBC)

Jason MacPherson

Jason Macpherson owns the Complete Wheel Shop with his wife, Kristin. Jason is the founder and CEO of the Regina- based Complete Wheel Shop. He started in the wheel business as a lathe operator in 1999 before opening his own business, the Complete Wheel Shop, in April 2005.

In addition to being a highly trained wheel specialist, Jason is a car enthusiast and an avid metal worker. His grandfather and father influenced his love of cars while teaching him the ins and outs of vehicle repair from a very young age. He customized many vehicles in his youth. As a young adult, he gained an interest in metalworking which translated well with his passion for cars.

Jason was a guest metal worker for the Canadian made Re-Inventors that aired on the History channel.

In addition, he hand-built a 1930 Ford Roadster style pickup from scratch using sheet aluminium. This award-winning car has been shown across Canada and the U.S. as far away as Texas.

He currently drives a 1936 Chevy which he chopped and sectioned. The 1936 Chevy won 2017 Dave's Pick at the Majestic's car show in Regina. The award was selected and presented by Dave Kindig of the Bitchin Rides TV series on Motor Trend Network.

Jason is currently working on another project. Check it out on instagram. @completewheelshop
